It is inspiring to watch someone go to their next level.

You see it in an athlete who finally breaks through. You see it in an individual contributor who steps up and surprises everyone, including themselves.

But rarely do leaders stop and ask that same question about themselves. Rarely does a manager sit down and think about what their next level looks like and what it would take to get there.

It is time to think differently because:

No team will ever exceed the level of its leader.

Which means if you want your organization or team to grow and deliver better results, it starts with you doing the same for yourself.

This week, I break down the 5 Levels of Leadership, a framework that I use in my new keynote, "Your Next Level of Leadership," and in coaching sessions to help managers understand exactly where they are and what it takes to reach the next level.

The Weight You Carry Alone (Podcast)

Most leaders believe intensity is an asset. And they are right. Until it isn't.

Tyler Dickerhoof has spent years studying what separates leaders who build something lasting from the ones who burn everything down chasing results. In this conversation, we get into why your intensity might be driving people away, what happens when you reach the finish line and realize nobody followed you, and the thing most leaders are hiding that is quietly running their leadership.

Tyler is the author of the new book The Things We Hide, a deeply personal and practical look at how our fears and insecurities build walls between us and the people we are trying to lead, and what it takes to finally put windows in those walls.

"The weight that crushes us is the weight we carry alone."

If you have ever felt like you were carrying too much, leading alone, or wondering why your team is not running with you, this episode is for you.

Accelerate Leadership Workshops

Most Organizations Promote Great Performers Into Leadership and Then Leave Them to Figure It Out

They want to lead well. Nobody showed them how. The result is a team that underperforms, disengages, and eventually turns over. Not because your managers don't care, but because they were never given a proven system to follow.

"No leader outperforms the talent on their team. And no team outperforms the quality of its leadership."

The Accelerate Leadership Program gives your managers the frameworks, tools, and coaching to lead with clarity and confidence. Results start in the first session. Delivered by John Eades, a certified instructor, or someone on your internal team.

The result: fewer performance issues in 45 days or less.

We’re opening 3 spots for organizations that want managers to act like leaders who actually drive performance and improve employee engagement.

If that’s you, reply “LEADERSHIP,” and we’ll send details.

That’s It For Today!
