Your 2025 Growth Audit
Reflect Before You Progress
It’s hard to believe 2025 is right around the corner.
It’s common for organizations to slow down over the next two weeks to enjoy the holiday and recharge. Whether you are a work-right-through or a savor the slow-down, kind of professional, it’s a valuable time to reflect on your progress from 2024 before preparing for what’s next in 2025.
Last year, I started sharing my Annual Growth Audit with Executive Coaching clients and managers in the Accelerate Leadership Program to help them reflect before progressing into the new year. They liked it so much that I shared it with you, and it was downloaded thousands of times.
It’s back and better than last year’s version. Today’s newsletter shares the questions in the 2025 Growth Audit. I hope it is a catalyst for reflection and action.
I. How have you positively influenced your team or organization?
What results, projects, activities, or innovative ideas did you achieve to make a positive impact at your place of work in 2024?
II. When did fear cause a lack of action?
Fear has the ability to keep you alive, but it also has the ability to keep you from living. What are the things you didn’t do because of fear?
III. How have your leadership skills evolved, and what actions contributed to the growth?
Growth doesn’t happen inevitably; growth happens intentionally. What skills have evolved, and what sparked the change?
IV. What challenges did you face, and what did you learn from them?
Challenges are opportunities in disguise. No one likes challenges, but it’s often the challenge that changes us. What challenges did you face personally or professionally this year?
V. What do you need to remove to help you next year?
Removal isn’t just subtraction, it’s often a multiplier for better results. What or who do you need to remove to help you next year?
VI. What’s your Catalyst for Growth Challenge?
What is a bold, meaningful goal that pushes you beyond your comfort zone and unlocks new potential?
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,

Expectations and Assumptions
Most people don’t struggle with having expectations; they struggle with communicating them. This is a significant problem because an unspoken expectation is an assumption, and assumptions set you up for suffering.
Your marriage depends on your ability to communicate expectations. Your team’s performance changes based on the limits you set. Now is not the time to lower the expectations bar; it’s time to raise it because people rise or fall to the level of expectations set.
Setting expectations demonstrates that you care about yourself and the people you have been blessed to lead.
Here Are Some Ways We Could Partner:
Leadership Development Done Differently - Did you know that 83% of organizations have some form of a leadership development program in place? This highlights the widespread recognition of cultivating leadership skills within teams. It seems like most executives recognize that: “Leadership doesn’t guarantee success, but a lack of leadership guarantees there won’t be success.”
However, despite the high percentage of companies with leadership development initiatives, the effectiveness and scope of these programs vary significantly. This is why I wanted to invite you to explore the Accelerate Leadership Program for your organization.
It’s a done-for-you program customized to your managers and their situations. If you’re in HR, L&D or an Executive with managers in your organization, why not let us take the development of your leaders off your plate?
